Help Assessing Condition of Boxster Spyder Wheels...

Good morning all,
Recently I purchased a set of Boxster Spyder wheels from a member here: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1118277
The seller, golfnutintib, stated that he was the original owner, the wheels had <1,000 miles on them, the paint was in 9+/10 condition, and no prior repairs. See PM screenshot.
The wheels I received has debris, bubbles, and overspray in the paint. I've also noted cracks and discoloration. Is this normal for OEM BBS finish? Or what's expected of 9+/10 condition?
Thanks in advance!

Damn, those have been used and abused. Tires may have less than 1000 miles on them but the wheels? No way.

Yeah that's like a 3/10. I would work with the seller to return the wheels. If he doesn't accept them I'd dispute the charges on my credit card and return the wheels anyway.

I've offered the return option. However, the seller does not want to refund me the shipping in full. He thinks I should pay half of it even though the condition of the wheels is clearly not as described, to say it nicely.

I wouldn't pay half ... problem was caused by dishonesty on the part of the seller … who is continuing to show their true colors by asking you to pay half the return shipping. If you can dispute the charge before the time limit expires, do so, then tell the dishonest seller to arrange return shipping.

Looking back on texts from yesterday, here is when the seller, golfnutintib, admitted that he was not the original owner, even though he had originally said he was via PM.

I would pay half the shipping just to get most of your money back and chalk it up to a lesson learned. Those wheels were clearly misrepresented. Shame people try to take advantage like that.
