Default Save or throw away?

Just installed a new fabspeed cat-x system on my '96 993 with 96000 miles.. Should I save the old system or recycle it? Is this something that counts as an original part?

My car is in very nice driving condition and is mostly original.

Thanks!

If you have room, I'd save the originals for the next caretaker. If not, you can sell here first.

Save. The best money is to refit stock (or offer to do so) on resale.

Keep it. Doesn't take up much room, and you might want to do a future mix-and-match with Fister's various offerings to obtain that perfect-for-you sound.

Good call. But if you want to sell them, keep me in mind, please! I’m looking for a set to send to out for a 200 cell conversion to run with my IIs also.
