Default BBi Streetcup Roll Bar and Schroths Installed

I took advantage of the black friday sale at BBi and purchased a roll bar and some Schroths. The install of the roll bar was really easy, it breaks down into 4 pieces. I got the roll bar installed in one night. Then cutting the carpet and installing the sub bar and belts took about another day. I'm happy with how everything turned out.

Thanks! Those took about 3 months of aggressive internet searching to find. I ended up seeing them for sale on the PCA forum. Bought them used from a guy in Florida.

Really appreciate it gentlemen. I’ve had the car for a couple years now, slowly improving it and improving my skills as a driver. I polished the paint a couple weeks back (exhausting) and now it’s looking pretty good. Always a work in progress though.

Default BBI Bar for Sale

I too am the lucky owner of a 2004 Carrara White GT3, had it since August of 2017......love the car more every time I drive it.

My car came with a BBI bar. Really meaty, BBI makes incredible products, well engineered. Their bar is one of the best street/track bars. It is ideal for drivers that drive with their seat in the fully extended to the rear position, such as I do.

I sold the BBI bar to a pal; shortly after I got the car, foolishly wanting it to be in Bone Stock trim, and having no need for a roll/harness bar, removed it... it sits unused in my friend's storage locker.

If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll refer you to him.

did the welds on the top hoop hit the alcantara headliner when rolling the bar onto place? typically folks dont use a plastic sign between the weld and the material crushing the alcantara and leaving a mark on the ceiling

There is a pretty good amount of clearance between the top hoop and the headliner. The top hoop is separate from the rear "X." Also, because the hoop is separate from the pieces that attach to the front seat belt holes, it was actually quite easy to get in place without damaging the interior.

Looks like you've gotten bitten by the DE virus. Infected for life. Get a NEXTGEN REV neck restraint to go with package.

Hans ... Simpson Hybrid ... Nextgen Rev ... Schroth SHR Flex ... I've been meaning to research all these confusing choices.
I still have stock belts and seats in my car, but have a DAS roll bar.
