What hobbies do you pursue during track off-season ?
Considering track days are like 10 days a year, and no days for 5 months in Winter,
what are some things you guys are into? What other things do you obsess and excel at ?

Seems to change every few years. Skiing sometimes, golf sometimes, travel some years.... but our season down here doesn’t really end, and I’m at the track a lot for product support so we fit in hobbies around that..

Watching the calendar until it is race sesson again.
Email the shop constantly about small modifications to the car in an effort to make it feel like race season.
Buy more race gear.
Watch videos of past races.
Sit in trailer with race car and smoke a cigar.
Drive my wife nuts by giving a daily countdown to race season.

Add:
Making/repairing CF bodywork in the basement/family room
Building engines in the dining room
Annoying my car designer with new and exciting (read: dumb) changes to run through CFD
Playing with spreadsheets trying to figure out how much downforce I think I'll make next year
Hassling my shock engineer for updates on new part delivery
Staring at the season schedule trying to figure out how to fit more races in, and how many sets of tires I'll need...

Riding and having fun with my kids and friends.
We just came back last weekend from Baja California.
Mostly doing activities with the kids, building a Sim Rig with my son, preparing the bikes and Kartings, few races in the south, ordering more parts (!) and working on new projects.
