2007 997 Turbo for sale
This just got posted on Craigslist in Sedona. Looks like a fair deal to me for a 6 speed. Has only been listed for 20 minutes as of right now.

That's what I thought, I'm wanting one but have to sell my 996tt to fund the 997. I've been trying to keep up with pricing for the last couple of months and this looks like 5 to 10 under the asking price of other driver quality cars. Someone will get a great car they can enjoy and still put DD miles on it with out getting hurt when they get out.

Eh, seems sorta low-ish but it has 63k miles and from what I've seen, once you're over ~50k miles you lose a lot of buyers with these cars. The warranty, coolant pipe fix and apparently good condition should help, though.

Agree, price seems low to me. Addressing known issues and new clutch. Seems at least 5K low to me.

Just FYI, buyers are probably safer buying these when the issues have been corrected other than a low mileage example with “none” issues. Lower mileage more money+ probability of failure. It’s the age not the mileage with these cars. Plastic fittings, rubber hoses, etc. What are we looking at? A low odometer reading, or a well seasoned car? It’s a gamble all I am saying, go ahead roll the dice.

Looks like its priced for a quick sale. Any lower and I would be concerned it was one of those craigslist scammers pretending to be a pilot who doesn't have time to drive the car ;-)

I agree 100%, it looks like a great example to me and, like I said, the coolant pipe fix and warranty should be pretty enticing. I'm just commenting that low $60s seems roughly market-correct to me, not necessarily a crazy low steal. From watching classifieds, the cars with "high" miles are the ones that tend to linger around forever unless they're near that $60k mark or lower.

IMAO considering the overall reliability of the model and that the specific motor of the 997.1TT could handle a lot more of miles, this offer is a bargain at this price. Surely in the people mind lower miles seems better but every time I go the porsche center the mechanic makes me aware that the more you drive the better is for the car. Those jewelry cars are good to be driven. I remember when I got my Boxster 2005 with the potential sword of amocles of the ims issue, the chief mechanic advise's was to push the car hard as from his experience people who tend to drive quietly and few were the one with the most problem.

I have seen several 6-speed manual cars around that 65K mile range asking around $65k. I think the mileage reflect in the asking price for sure. Low mileage cars will always bring more money. But as the miles climb, even on the 997TT M6, the price comes down. I think there are some pretty good buys on cars in that 60K-75k mileage range. The car I bought falls into that group. It had about 64k miles and had an asking price around $65K. This car was in great shape and even after pulling the motor for upgrades, we found very little wrong with the car. Although a seeping water pipe was one of the issues. We had already planned to replace them all with the other upgrades we planned.
I think a maintained car with around 65k or so miles could be a great deal for some people. Especially people who can do a lot of the repairs and maintenance themselves. And keeping in mind that a 2007 may need coolant pipes addressed at some point.

The price has already been lowered since originally posted, just $61.5k now, really edging towards "great deal" territory. Makes me think he's eager to see it gone and might negotiate down a little more still.

Serious buyers- Be sure to vet this one. Might be a Craigslist scam.
