Default Certificate of Authenticity

I received my "welcome" package from PNA last week. It did not include a Certificate of Authenticity. I called & they said they quit doing them.

I guess in the big picture it's no big deal, however for our first Porsche I thought it would be pretty cool to have.

frame your monroney sticker, I think that's more impressive

My dealer (Napleton Westmont Porsche) doesn't fold the Monroney sheet but immediately laminates them in plastic for longevity. Your dealer can print a buildsheet for free (mine was black and white and two pages long) or you can buy one for around $13 from Sunset parts.
I'm thinking the one Sunset sells has a color Porsche Crest and is typically one page, but you'd have to ask to be sure.

I have the digital build sheet & my Monroney is already laminated from the dealer. I think the COA is a nice touch, I mean how much does it cost to make up?

My Father has all his framed with the COA, MS, his pen & a pic. Also PCNA sent him cool little aluminum paper weights with a miniature turbine & a Turbo Engine.

Too bad they stopped. When I bought my CPO I was most impressed with the welcome pack including that.

I believe you can still order them (COA) online if you want one.

They still do the COA and at least my dealer includes it for each car. I think it costs $50-75.

just wonder if you shop for a car, check its history and get loans to buy it, get it registered, are you still thinking it could be a counterfeit porsche? i know beside the papers and vin history and window stickers there could be some novelty to having some official porsche paper to show people, but its a pretty ridiculous thing to have

Then you probably have never been to a marquee Concours with high value cars that are quite old.

Damn, I was hoping I’d get one with my new T.

I would disagree that it is a "ridiculous" thing to have. It is the cars birth certificate with a letter from Porsche that you are the original owner. It is a nice classy touch that some dealers provide with the car and as one goes through cars a nice memory.
