Default Sport Design Duck Tail

Has anyone tried to fit the 991.1 Sport Design Duck Tail to a 991.2 GT3 Touring?

I am really interested in seeing this through once my car arrives and would appreciate any information.

I suppose the absence of a response is the response. I am going to look into this and see if it can be done. Will report back.

i've wanted a 911 with a ducktail for a longtime and was finally able to install one on a 993 this past summer. i imagine a GT3 touring with one would look fantastic! someone needs to try this for sure.

I would imagine that a ducktail swap is easiest with a winged GT3. The lid has no mechanical components.

This, the 3rd brake light is a bit of the issue though

Not on the 991.2 GT3, the third brake light is on the underside of the wing. All wiring would be there for the light in the sport design duck tail.

the 991.1 has the light on the underside of the wing too, there were issues getting it to work on his, unless they've changed that wiring, there will be some issues getting it to work with the 991.2. Also you do need fitment adjustments, as it doesn't match the open space completely perfectly (close). I remember it was actually a heck of a. project for him.
