key stuck in ignition.
My key gets stuck in the ignition and wont pull out... except by chance after turning the ignition multiple times back and forth. Eventually I get lucky and it unsticks. Car is in park and changing the car to drive and back to park makes no difference. The wheel is centered, and turning the wheel makes no difference. HELP... 991.2 GT3.

My GTS cluster lit up like a Christmas tree yesterday, dropped it off and got a loaner Macan. My wife gets in it today and after sitting there for a good 5 minutes, musters the courage to ask me how to start it. She has not had a car without keyless in so long she didn’t know what to do (not blond... redhead).
OP, I got nothing for you.

DLehman911: Your car doesnt use a key if it has keyless ignition. The key you use to turn on and off the car is a dummy plug, not a key and not meant to ever be removed.
The FOB ( looks like a car with the lock and unlock buttons) is what actually allows the car to turn on and off.
If you ever want to remove the dummy key you do not need any tools. Just put the FOB somewhere far away from the car. Go to the car and make one or two attempts to start it and then turn it all the way to the left and it will then allow you to remove it by pulling it straight out..
