Honest Review: Jack Daniels Porsche - Jonathan Wein // 2019 Porsche GT3RS
This is my honest review just to give members heads up on who they are dealing with and who they should spend their money with. This dealership was a headache to deal with, they were the most unprofessional and clueless dealership. Everyone else has a different story or rule book. They only follow up with you once you completely get angry and leave reviews for the public to see.
Now, I'm fed up. I filed a complaint with Porsche North America also. (Before JD + All his friends spam this thread saying he's the best, etc. - Look at the screenshot from Yelp after my review) attached.
I bought a car over the phone, 2019 Porsche GT3RS. Before the purchase, Jonathan Wein was a great salesman. He knew what to say to ensure me that everyone would be smoothe when in reality it wasn't. He even promised me he would drive the car down himself if he had to. I've had countless unprofessional conversations with this CLASS BOOK salesman. (Extremely rude, unprofessional, mistakes and over promising salesman)
I mean, this guy would go to extremes to curse me out and name call me. Personally disrespecting me and taking his bad day out on me. Keep in mind, I'm the customer here!
I went through hell purchasing my car, CORRECTING the registration when Jonathan white-out my incorrect address instead of reprinting the paperwork and non-stop insurance adjustments. Also, Jonathan promised me via text to cover my shipping, which he didn't.
Evan also promised to take care of me on a new car, GT2RS, GT3RS, GT3 but that was another attempt to just bs me! Of course, I said I would purchase one and he said: "Oh sorry, they are all sold." - I checked their website, there was two on the floor.
I emailed over our complete text message conversation to his manager Evan which clearly said he will cover the shipping. He saw that his employee agreed to cover the costs but now there was a new excuse.
"He will send you half the money now and once you remove the negative reviews, he will send you the rest."
My life will totally be fine without the $3,250 I paid for shipping. It's about principle. When you give someone your word, you stick to it.
That is good business. Sadly, good business is hard to find these days.
I rather let people know how bad of a businessman he is and doesn't deserve business from Porsche owners who look at this car obsession as a hobby and get away.
Karma will do its trick!
I can also post more screenshots of our convo if someone wants to think I'm lying.
Best of luck.

$3250 for shipping? Jesus. I got a quote for covered shipping for my car from Chicago to Scottsdale for $1400. I’d check those invoices before you pay it.

On another note- just so hard to find a decent dealership. Just so many bad experiences out there. It’s a shame when you are dealing with 100-300k cars.

Sorry to hear this, OP. This reminds me of my nightmare experience with Brandon Starks at Porsche Jacksonville. Fortunately, I was able to see the writing on the wall and escape before signing on the dotted line. There are good (even great) dealers out there...but there is certainly a lot of unscrupulous and otherwise unprofessional ones, as well.

On shipping, I just paid $1,600 to ship from Rstrada in Torrance to Atlanta to move my GT3 back after Rennsport.
$3,250 is steep.

Did you pay an ADM for your GT3 RS or not?
If you didn't pay an ADM and expected free shipping costing $3250 on a car that 100 other people would have paid MSRP for your story is hard to believe.
