A little confused...
Hello all, my question is if it is worth spending 30,000 grand on a mint 2018 GTS, 11,000 miles, while trading in my 2016 fantastic GTS with 20,ooo miles. I have posted 2 other threads, but I am thoroughly confused! There is so much give and take and not sure it is worth the extra cash. Faster car with the 2018 vs the 2016 NA aspirated exhaust. The cars are similarly built, so please all in this forum, throw your opinions in, before I make a mistake either way. Thank you!

Why are you starting multiple threads for same conversation? Seems like that is really confusing to me. Many people have tried to give their opinion/advice and you not going to get new ones from everyone just because you start yet another new thread.

It is really your call. Here you are going to get the NA vs Turbo crowd chirping in and it could be endless. I hope that’s not your intention.
You are looking at the 2018 seriously enough for you to be in anxiety. So it must have checked some boxes. Buy the one that makes you feel greater when you drive it. Looking for help here will only confuse you. Look for it in the driving experience.

I am here on the forum to get some advice..... not to abuse, but to really hear some valuable advice before I make a silly decision. I am sure some of our members have driven both cars and will I be happy to hear there opinions. I need to,that is why we are lucky to have these forums!

I currently own a 2018 GTS and would suggest that your decision should be made on linearity of throttle response versus big push of torque.
If it were me I would make such a switch only for a new car that I could spec.
Otherwise put 30k in the GT3 pot for future use.

Go to bank, take out 30k. Then drive to dealership and test drive the 991.2. Drive it hard. Get back in your car and drive it hard. Then decide if you want to go back and give them that 30k. If it is worth it you will do it. If not go put money back in bank where you got it.

I don't know what the confusion is. There is always going to be another deal, another new model, another car to lust after. If you don't mind spending the 30K, do it. If you are on the fence about it and you need convincing, then it seems you really don't love it enough, so wait until you find something you can't wait to buy.

I think a 4th thread on the same topic would really help you make a decision.

Sometimes I feel I over analyze things... then I think "but do I?"
@woodranch
do you mainly drive below 60mph and change speed a lot? -> 991.2
do you mainly drive weekends for fun on open roads? -> 991.1 and $30k saved for fuel and maintenance for a long time
