It’s still on the configurator and I understand more allocations are coming soon from what I have heard. I would guess they would delete WP from configurator if no longer available....?

I was also told Weissach is done. Who knows. 6 months from now when another round of allocations drop we will probably hear that Weissach is available along with the Mg wheels and PTS.

Pretty consistent with recent past Porsche practice. You want the fancy stuff you wait (probably to cut back on flipping). Look how late the PTS touring GT3 builds ended up in production.

You can now build Weissach package with painted hood so looks like there will be more available soon

Thats the thing, you put it in your options, and the factory takes it off.

Not sure if it is temporary, or only for nonpainted Weissach package.

But looking at it, the WP is $18000 and it reduces 6.1 kg of weight only. For me, looks like the magnesium rims is worth it compared to the WP itself. At least the Magnesium rims reduces 11 kg of weight.

Pretty sure it'll come back in some shape or form, because it makes money.

Just that you'll have to wait. Whether a dealer will allow you to keep rolling a commission from month to month, that's a different matter...

Since most RLers will bubble wrap the RSs out of concern for “future value”, with the exception of that dangerous and risky drive to the local cars and coffee, I’m somewhat surprised that more aren’t jumping on the WP band wagon! Personally I’m glad I got it on mine; looks good in my opinion, whether or not it makes a difference on track? Shall see. Had a blast over 2 days at Spa last month, just need someone to let me borrow their non-WP car for comparison at a track event; you can drive mine too. Let’s see.

It's 13 pounds. 11 pounds are from the sway bars. There's no way it makes any sort of performance difference in any way shape or form. It's a personal preference in terms of looks and whether or not you want to pay for that.
