Good experience with Porsche Centre Oakville and my 993
My car threw a CEL last week and my scanner identified an O2 sensor fault. Took it in and was very impressed with how my service advisor Brian took care of me. They had their shop foreman, Dirk, work on the car because of his experience and he felt it was a problem with the MAF sensor based on the data he got from the car. He disassembled it, gave it a good cleaning and cleared the fault and so far so good. They recommended changing the sensor if it trips the CEL again. All of that was completed for the $139 diagnostic charge!
When I went to pick it up last night, everyone treated me very well and no one made me feel like they were rushing me out because it was closing time. The fellow who used to own the Audi dealership and now drives the shuttle service came over and shook my hand and said hello (can’t remember his name), as did the fellow who signed my car in Thursday morning(young man with glasses). He also asked if he could get me a beverage...and Laith, the service Manager, came over to say Hi too. That was the best experience I’ve had at PCO to-date and maybe the best I have had at any dealer.
i don’t think that I have introduced my latest ride here...1997 C2 in Arena Red with Black Sport Seats. BC car with 65,000 kms. I have been looking for a Tippy Widebody for quite sometime and came across this Narrow bodyback in May
that was too clean to pass on.

Very Nice! Love AR on the 993. 3 experiences now with PCO service wise on 2 different vehicles and all have been outstanding.

Thanks Pags...I love Arena Red too. Saw a 991 C4S advertised recently in Arena Red and would love to own that too!

That is good news as PCO will be my local service centre most likely. However, I do recall when I was Porsche shopping that PCO was the least willing to give me reasonable percentage discounts.

Yes, i’d Have to agree with that statement. I’ve gone in a few times in the last year “thinking” about buying something new and have floated the idea of 2-3% off a new 991 to my sales rep, but they don’t appear to be interested in any discounts. I have a number of local friends who now buy at a Mark Motors in Ottawa because they can’t get a deal locally. I’ll probably do the same when I get serious about buying new. And for the record, no hard feelings about PCO not discounting...if they can sell all they get at full pop, more power to them.

That’s good advice actually. I ended up buying a CPO car out of PNT simply bc it had the options I wanted but perhaps would consider MM for future business if PNT cannot satisfy.
Porsche London was the most negotiable I’d say that I found but unfortunately not local.
Anyways, lovely red 993 to the OP.
993’s look delicious.

London had what appeared to be an awesome 97 c4S in auto. Sat for a bit likely due to auto. Wish it was manual. Sold couple weeks ago.

Most of them I think are retirees at PCO. Some have interesting stories.
