Cutting some lbs and adding some power
Put on some BBS Monoblocks and Dundon race headers yesterday. Wheels cut about 19 lbs and headers about 49 lbs (all per my scale) over stock. Sounds fantastic and certainly seems a little zippier. I'll most likely get a lightweight battery next week (supposed to cut 25-30lbs), so all totaled will have taken around 95-100 lbs out of the car. A few pics (unfortunately they put the rear bumper back on before I could get a pic of the new headers)...

Jamie at Dundon was fantastic to work with. Very knowledgable and helpful. Certainly get what you pay for when going with Dundon. Looking forward to putting some miles on the car this weekend and getting a better feel for the increase in torque and hp.
Few more pics of the wheels.

That looks so good! The monoblocks are the perfect wheel on an RS. Get rid of those heavy side mufflers to cut some more weight.

Yeah, this looks so good I have to comment again. Do the full Dundon race system. And then adjust your rear ride height to accommodate for the weight loss. I've never been a huge fan of this color but the combination of the wheels and the graphics delete and this car looks awesome. JBO

Awesome.
Be careful with lightweight battery, sometimes more trouble than they are worth. Nothing worse than a lithium battery that goes dead in cold weather or cant get the car to crank. I just run a good quality AGM battery from any of the big box auto stores and I stepped the size down one category from the factory battery. Saves a few pounds and the car never dies. I used to have a Braille battery in my 944 and it was terrible, also had issues with an Odyssey lightweight battery in my other 911. Not worth it to me anymore for the small weight savings
Cheers on a BEAUTIFUL car and agree, Dundon guys are great to work with.

I agree that you should do a lot of research before you buy a lightweight battery. However there are lots of options from AGM to lithium that can save you 30+ lbs from the best part of the car. Lots of installation kits available to make it easy. Battery technology has come a long way.
