Default A View From Summit Point

Here's a screenshot from this past weekend at Summit Point which I don't want to see again. Three cars hit deer including me. The new owners are promising fencing. I'm not returning until this is done.

Ugh, that sucks. The deer situation has been better in recent years but does seem to be a touch worse very recently. Hope your car isn't too banged up.

Ouch.... that truly sucks. Deer can inflict huge damage, know from personal experience.

Shame on summit point for not doing something about this earlier. I was lucky that I didn't hit or even see any deer on track this past weekend but saw the damage to your'alls cars. Not cool at all. Hopefully summit improves the situation.

Metro will be there on Nov 2 and 3, hope they go away by then...

Couple of years ago at the Metro event, deer hit. Driver was OK.

Not limited to Summit. But the development around the track is driving the deer more towards the track... Just like about everywhere else.

There were a couple on track during the Orange enduro at the PCA race last month. I tried to get a screen shot from my video but it was raining so hard I can't find them.

This buck narrowly lived to see another day and help grow the population at Summit. AER at Summit point 2017.

That's a pretty nice rack on that buck. A trophy in my eyes.

There seem to be an awful lot of deer strikes at this track.
Crazy question, does anyone there dare run open cockpit? Seems like a very bad idea.

Haven't seen one on track at Summit but almost hit one two years ago pulling into the entrance.

Oh geez, Bill, I'm sorry.

Hell, we used to hit them all the time in Suburbans and sedans when training there back in the day. Ugh.
