Default Tires...

Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem with tires as I do.

Well, I was sorting things out this morning, and even though I have had the 996 for only a few short months, I now have two sets of rims and four sets of rubber.... and I find it extremely difficult to say 'no' to new sets... actually, I am a little more proactive than that - I am constantly looking. I am curious if others do similar things - tires for off road, winter, spring/summer, rain, sand, mud, highway long trip, highway short trip, track (admittedly I have not been on one for ages), etc. And even though I am a huge Michelin fan, I have offerings from 8 additional manufacturers. I have been accused of being tire simple, however I maintain that choice is the number one freedom, and you may have my tires once I am dead and gone.

You may note that I have cameras watching my tires in case they get lonely...

What color are you going to paint the wall? Maybe black? That way you may not be reminded as easily that you have so many tires.

Yes....I've got 2 sets of wheels for the 911. 3 sets of tires. Two sets of wheels and tires for my tundra, two sets for my '55, and just added another set for my '63 impala....

But can anyone here say they have 3 sets of 14" tires

I do. One set of muds, one set of turfs and a set of all terrains for my Pioneer 1000. Not street legal, however.

I love the spokes, by the way - are they true knock offs?

Nah. Not knockoffs, I got a steal on these I couldn't pass up that prevented me from getting a set of wheels laced up with knock offs.

They are an old school company called true spoke that just started making these again. Knockoffs make me nervous 😂

Similar issues here, 4 sets of wheels and a tire shortage mitigation strategy....

Those are sexy; I love the foil/mylar! Has anyone else bothered to scroll through his pics? That (those) suspension components are absolutely sick! And... I'm pretty sure you consume rotors at a great pace...
