Default NJMP PCA Club Race

Three questions:
1. Is there a tentative schedule available yet?
2. Are we running (hopefully) without the chicane?
3. Have organizers requested cooler temps?

Thanks in advance.

ive run the chicane a few times, mainly when IMSA/ continental challenge ran there. we ran it the week before in preparation/test for the imsa race, with deman and his boxster squadron.
adn then the club race used to happen the same time as the imsa race. it was a support event . there would be 1 run group. it was a mix of cars fastest to slowest, but fun because you could watch imsa when cooling down after a nice session. the chicane is fun. wicked narly exiting it to that straight with the bump before the fast right, slow left. adds maybe 4 seconds to laptime?

You should be able to expect 1) DE Group 2) Vintage Group 3) Slow Race Group and 4) Fast Race Group - in that order.

Chicane pretty much eliminates passing opportunities, I never liked it and have run it a few times.

When I ordered tires via Hoosier Tires East, they told me that Phil’s Tire would be on site for mounting. I believe they are a Toyo dealer.
https://philstireservice.com/

just checked and event info section has been updated:

TIRE SUPPORT

Phil's Tire Service will provide trackside tire support. We encourage racers to reserve tires ahead of time to ensure availability. Orders must be received no later than Wednesday, August 9th.

They are also distributors for Toyo and BFG so they can take orders and service more than just Hoosiers. If people have already placed orders with Hoosier Tire East, they will be passed to Phil’s. Orders can be placed by calling Phil or Kim at 845-647-7407, or via email to philstireservice@gmail.com"] philstireservice@gmail.com or https://philstireservice.com/
