Default Aftermarket steering wheels

OMP wheel with a Lifeline "group N" quick release. How do I get the self cancelling part of the turn signals hooked back up?

I am not sure you can. That is a racing setup, and racecars don't have turn signals. If yours is basically a street car, unless it is eligible for historic/collector plates and your state allows turn signal exemption, I wonder whether lacking full turn signal capability is street-legal?

Do you have the turn signal cancel ring in there? There's a piece with a tab sticking out of it attached to the hub which cancels the turn signal.

Rally cars have to be road legal. I've ran that wheel on 4 of them now. The signals work just don't self cancel.

The plastic ring with the "tab" sticking out is still on the OEM wheel. Soooooo......I'll have to attach that to the adapter......I'm not sure there is room there.....

Interestingly, Colorado statues specify that you must be able to turn your turn signals on to indicate a turn, but statues do not specify that you must be able to turn signals off.

IIRC it goes between the steering column and hub adapter. Not attached to the quick release or new wheel.
