ECU & Tuning Options
motor is a 3.6
993 RS cams
headers
use is track and canyons
car does need tune as it will run lean under hard load
Doi need a dual o2?Have headers and has a bung for each bank.
options:
have wong do a custom tune. Local so that’s an option. But stuck w stock injectors and barn door afm. Simplest option.
do a VEMS setup. Tunable. Could also up rate injectors. Supposedly more plug and playish with pnpecu
motec will require full custom setup.
there is another option I’m considering which is a Maf conversion with updated injectors. But o2 is only a single narrow band
curious for those who have these.

You mentioned a possible MAF conversion. I would reach out to John at Vitesse to discuss some of the options mentioned here:

His products are widely praised on the 944 forum. Good luck and keep us posted!

Sounds like carbs. Or individual throttle bodies with open induction. And no muffler. Lumpy cams.

I can recommend SW and his custom tune. He got around 20hp out of my car with only a full headers/exhaust and air filter.
if if you are keeping a mostly stock engine, with the exception of cams... SW seems like a good value compared with going with a custom Motec solution.
