I ended up with black sisal as I wanted a bit more vintage look but not as vintage looking as coco (which I have in my 993) which is I think what you are saying too. I will say furstil seemed like it would wear like iron from the sample and it was on my short list.

I highly recommend Cocomats. They are great people and a great product at a fair price. I ordered a bunch of samples $1 each free shipping, use as coasters when you pick your style. Also, they will do deviated heel pads and/or edging at no extra cost. I put a blue heel pad and black edging on the black and blue cocomats in my 993.

PS no affiliation with cocomats, just a happy customer.

Funny. the other day i had flip flops on and realized almost impossible to drive. Barefoot worked just great and a different experience.

But the Porsche Custom CF mats are more $$ and these, above, look a heck of a lot better and are very durable

I wear holes in carpet or even rubber mats so CF or leather are a no go for me. I am not sure why as I wear Birkenstocks most days. They just don’t hold up. On cocomats I could replace just the heelpad, but it seems pretty durable thus far with zero signs of wear.

I paid $ 239 for the mats...supposed to be super durable.....thinner than coco mats - solid colors only and I like the clean non busy look for me...have multi color cocos in my other cars...

I thought about replacing my no cost factory mats, but then I realized that I like them better than Most of the aftermarket options.

I placed the Furstil on top off the factory no charge mats for extra protection along the edges, etc.......perfect fit............no grommet holes....
