Default Booster seat options?

I have children who are 6 & 8 years old. They require booster seats. In our family SUV, we still use the boosters with the head protection but for the occasional jaunt in my 911, I’d be fine with just the seat cushion to get them high enough where the shoulder belt doesn’t hit their neck.

Which boosters fit in those tiny rear 911 seats?

I use a Volvo booster that is low profile enough to fit well in the 911 and doesn’t put my kids’ heads above the seatback. Any booster 11” across the back, 15” across front, 15” front-to-back, and 4” cushion height fits the back very nicely and clears the belt receptacle.

After going through 5 or 6 models ranging from high-back to backless we decided on the Cosco Topside Booster Car Seat. This model fits perfectly in our 2004 C4S Cab.

I have a Maestro Harnessed Booster for my 6 year old. It is a five point high back up to 50 lbs, and straight booster after that. The boys have been happy back there for 1-2 hours.

I have taken the seat backs out of the back, but left the seat cushions. Chopped up pool noodles will be your friend for fitting.

I know you mentioned that you were fine with just the seat without the back, but we've been using these in our 04 C4S Cab https://www.harmonyjuvenile.com/us_e...ich-royal.html, which are rated to 110lbs and were recommended by some others in older booster seat threads on this forum, without any issues. I also have these pads underneath:

Couple of folks have been using these, which have piqued my interest: http://saferide4kids.com/product/ridesafer-travel-vest/

I just got a Bubble Bum for my 2001 C2.
I have a roll cage in the back so my little one has to sit up front with me. (Shes almost 6 years old and tall for her age) The Bubble Bum was the best solution in my mind!
Its soft so it will not mess up the seat or bolsters, It locks your kid in like a real seat on both sides of the hips and the shoulder adjusting strap lets you lower the belt to chest height easily!
When I don't use the Bubble Bum it goes in the frunk!
Highly Recommended!
