Default Looking to buy my first Porsche and I need help

Hi All,
I am new, but have been a lurker for a long time.
I have been looking for my first Porsche and I found that could be it!
It is a 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S with a GT3 body kit on it.
It is a 6 speed
The ad says The car is in excellent condition having not been driven very much at all. Additional features include the following: GT3 Body Kit, sport exhaust, adjustable sport suspension, new ceramic breaks, new slicks, drive clean vehicle emissions inspection (May 16th 2018), Porsche car cover included.
ONLY 30,000km
One catch for me is I live in Newfoundland Canada and the car is in Ontario. I will be buying it unseen, flying to Ontario and driving it home.
My questions are:
What is a fair price for this car?
Is there anything I should look out for?
Is the GT3 body on the Carrera S an option form the factory?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome and that is not a GT3 kit but rather the Aerokit bumper and wing. It could be OEM Porsche or a knock off and to answer your question, it could have been a factory option if you pull up the build sheet. Posting the VIN, we can look up the build sheet. Slicks? Was it heavily tracked?

I highly recommend not buying it sight unseen. Do you plan to bring it to a local shop to have a PPI done? If not, at least do yourself a favor and have a 3rd party indy do a PPI.

Where in Ontario is it? I second the PPI if you think you want the car.

That is a great idea.
I will get the address of where the car is and see if there is any local shops to get it looked at.

I am amazed that it only has 30,000km on it
Some answers I got from owner

I had no issues with the car.
Its never been driven in the winter and always stored in a garage. It has been well maintained and I have the service records. Its like a really dark blue…looks black in some lighting conditions. It is a six speedI did not remove the badging…the last owner did. It has the GT3 body kit. Ceramic breaks, new tires last week.Emmission test was done last weekNo accidentsNo after market add ons.

If this car is in good shape and has no issues, what would a fair Canadian price be?

you need to know if its porsche parts or aftermkt fiberglass parts. And then take it to a porsche dealer and get a complete cpo inspection and carfax and porsche service history

Default I wouldnt.

If cost is an issue, I would not consider that car as it's a liability with those ceramics.
Id buy a regular 997.2 c2s (2009 to 2012) 997.2 > 997.1 in my opinion

Look at a lot of cars and don't just buy the first one you like or that comes along. There's a lot to learn about here and IMHO that you're considering this car tells me you haven't even started to do your homework.

At least 100 beaver pelts and a good amount of beads and whiskey.

Why new brakes all around after only 30,000 km?

Here's why ceramics might be an issue:
https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/99735103200AND99735103100.html

$11.5k for front rotors, $10.5k for rears.
Ceramics last for at least 100k miles if you don't track and if they don't crack due to a rock chip. Ceramics rotors are spent rather quickly if you track the car more than a couple times per year.

Did car come with ceramics? Why were new ones put on? New rotors or just pads?
