WTB: Getty or OEM GT3 wing for 996

FYI you'll want the "AeroKit Cup II" wing as mentioned above as the OEM GT3 wing wont fit a Carrera as the intake is on the wrong side.
If you can stretch and get the genuine wing its much better than the Getty one. Had the Getty and moved it on for the genuine

Hey dan_189, is the Getty wing adjustable like the Porsche genuine? The wing on my car is also a replica and one of the things that bugs me the most about it is the fact that it's fixed. I'm currently saving for a genuine but if the Getty is adjustable, it may be attractive to me.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Other very minor things to note are:
- Getty has two holes on each inner side to hold the blade on whereas the OEM only has one with a locking mechanism (getty does not have this)
- OEM has holes to hold the wiring harness in place - getty does not
- OEM has the part stamp - getty does not
- Getty is fibreglass whereas the OEM is a formed resin material
- OEM has two adjustable bars inside it where the hinges attach - Getty doesn't
- Fitment of the OEM is perfect - I could never get the Getty to sit where I wanted it
- On the inner scoops of the Getty its got a rough finish (from the fibreglass) the OEM is smooth
- Getty uses the original fan bolts - the OEM requires longer bolts
Otherwise they are basically the same, 9/10 times if you're not a die-hard 996 enthusiast you'd struggle to tell them apart - the two holes on the inner section are the biggest tells aside from the missing part number stamp.
Hope that helps!

OEM gt3 Wing can be installed with a gt3 aftermarket air intake (requires a bit of trimming) My whole project cost me 1800$ Canadian (1400$ us)including the intake, paint job, Wing and the harness
