PCCB Dealer cost

Thanks, I had heard the dealers make all their money on options hence they loved to load up stock cars. I also thought they made more than 10% on new cars but I may well be wrong.

I thought it was closer to 15%. I could be wrong as well. I considered them on my .1. At the time the dealer quoted me just less than $8k at cost. IIRCC, retail was $9,200 vs $9,400 on the .2s. Either way is was slightly more than 10%. I ending up passing on them for the .1 but optioned them on my .2 and love them.

Dealers make money by selling cars and lots of them put heavy cars together for the guy that walks in with no pregame saying- "I want one that's super loaded"
Remember that not every Porsche Buyer is in RL!!
In regards to margin, the Premier Dealers get extra margin, which varies year to year.

There are ways to correct someone and show respect at the same time.
Everyone deserves respect until until they consistently show they don’t deserve it.
But it then again I am just an engineer that graduated from ASU.

This is patently FALSE. Premier Dealers do NOT receive extra margin. Their gross margins from invoice to MSRP are identical. And their opportunity for additional funds are identical to every other dealer.
Perhaps you could email your regional rep for the Premier dealer brochure (yes - it exists). It outlines all the qualifiers and benefits. It might be a nice thing for you to strive towards.
Additionally, there is not a single buyer who walks into a showroom and says, "I want the one that is super loaded." That's just ridiculous.
CJ - if there is anything else you are confused about, please don't hesitate to ask. I know you are a relatively new dealer, and I'm hopeful that these training sessions I'm having with you on Rennlist will prevent the spread of bad, false information.

Loaded cars carry more gross profit so if it is a model in demand it makes sense to order cars for stock loaded because those cars are not discounted.

not going to take sides here but owned multiple dealerships for 30 years and had lots of customers that said “get me one with everything” and we were happy to accommodate.

The margins on ALL options over the base builds are HUGE. Hence the bloated builds you see in most dealer spec inventory.
Margins are huge for dealers, and the depreciation on bloated builds is painful at resale.
