What was the actual MSRP?
For private party:
Take the 2016 MSRP and X by 0.85 for year #1 (2016)
Then X by 0.90 for year #2 (2017)
Then X by 0.90 for year #3 (2018)
Offer that number
For example $120,000 MSRP
$102,000
$91,800
$82,620 (offer this $)

What's 5,000 miles on a car that can go +200,000 miles? Condition and history would trump the miles. In your example, the lesser mile car might sell faster, but is't not worth much of a premium, all things being equal, which they rarely are.
