I just purchased a 2009 C4S with Factory Installed Bluetooth, but after too many attempts - I simply cannot get the car to find my phone and pair. The first time I attempted it, my phone was found - 4 digit code was shown and entered but it never paired (it was just "stuck" at this stage). Now, it doesn't even find my phone when I search for a new device.

Does anyone have any advice / had a similar experience?

I have 2009 Turbo and have not been able to sync my mine either. I think my original PCM has been changed as the XM radio id is different than what XM radio has attached to the Vin# of my car

Thanks for taking the time to reply! If I get it to work, I will certainly update this thread but it sounds like I am in the market for a new Bluetooth Headset...

No problems connecting my '09 C4S with and iphone 6. Wonder if there is something in the I7 which requires an update on the Porsche comm system?

Very frustrating. Worst case scenario, I will invest in a good Bluetooth headset. Thanks for your input BTW.

I'm connecting my iPhone 7 Plus without any issue to my 2009 C4S PCM3.0 via BT.
I believe I'm running the latest FW (update done by Porsche Geneva March of last year).

Have not tried my iPhone X yet but should not make any difference I believe

I have a 2009 C4S as well. I was able to get my Iphone 6 to pair but never able to call out . Recipient coud not hear me but I could hear them 5X5. When I received caklls same issue, caler could not hear me. My Iphone 7 is now paired with same issue continuing

Are the Iphones that great that you forgo the hands free capability and get a new one with the same issue?

My iPhone is supplied by my employer, so I do not have the option to change which phone I use.

The 2009 C4S I have since 2009 had paired with every iPhone I had, and currently iPhone 6S Plus is working perfectly.

Does anyone have a current iPhone 8 or X that's working with their 997.2? If so what level PCM firmware?

I have an iPhone X paired and functional with my 997.2 C4S. If there is a link or instructions on how or where to get the PCM firmware version/level I can post version. For those with pairing issues has anyone tried restarting the phone and the car. Then trying to pair again. This process worked for my friends pioneer.
