Not getting rid of my car, just curious because I see a lot of really enticing options.
If right now I were making a change I think ZL1 1LE and GT350 would be the final two choices.

I looked at the GT350 and ZL1 1LE. I still have a deposit on the 1LE, but don’t plan on buying it. I do what to check it out more closely before I pass on it. I didn’t drive a ZL1 1LE but regular ZL1, and man the engine is beastly. The engine feels like it can pull anywhere. It’s atcually quite a good looking car with presence and has a very nice interior as well. Chevy has come a long way. So why did I choose the GT4? I wanted something smaller, naturally aspirated and well to be shallow, Porsche.
Looked at the GT350 and test drove it. Engine is great, and sounds amazing. The looks of the car weren’t for me, and the interior is probably the worst of any new car I have drove in the past few years. Worse then some rental KIAs I’ve drove on business trips. In the end, it didn’t feel special enough.

Traded towards the .2 GT3 Manual and no regrets.

A 991.2 GT3 manual. It is a hard decision because is the GT3 really worth nearly two times the price of a GT4? Yes the GT3 has a Motorsport engine, a GT designed manual transmission, rear axle steering, etc but I'm not sure if it's twice the car of the GT4. Maybe 50%?

not too much compare really, considering you listed the two only sub-100k ‘real track cars’. I would look at the 997.2 GT3, M4 CS, Corvette Grand Sport, and Camaro SS 1LE in addition to the two you listed. The M4 CS and ZL1 1LE would be my top choices.

I might consider the new GT4 if they release one but it would depend on the engine and transmission, and whether I like how it looks and the cost.
Honestly there is nothing “competitive” that excites me right now.
The only car I would consider selling the GT4 for is my (long gone) Cayman R. It’s the only car I’ve ever sold that I think about all the time. It’s not really “competitive” to the GT4 and doesn’t make logical sense as to why I miss it so much....but I do. There is an emotional attachment to that car that I can’t fully explain. It was partly the Peridot paint which I loved. But also how it handled. It was my “Goldilocks” car (as a dear friend put it). Not too big, not too small, just right. And for my needs and how I like to drive - it was just right.
The GT4 has allowed me to grow and become a better, faster driver - but I can’t say that it’s significantly more fun than I had in the R (and also it’s hard to put a price on the improvement and whether it was worth the cost of the upgrade).
I do love the GT4. It’s a great car. But there was this intangible quality about the Cayman R.....
