Default Back in the day....1975 Daytona and Sebring

De-cluttering a closet and found my slides (when was the last time you heard the word "slides" as it relates to photos?) from Daytona 24 Hr and Sebring 12 Hr races in 1975. Among the pics were a few with Peter Gregg and Hurley Haywood together and the Brumos 59. Times have changed in 43 years!

Those were the days when a couple of guys with a few bucks and a dream could still go race. Now it's all factory backed teams and trust fund kids with uber dollars.
I know there are still the lucky, few good ones that make it on their ability but I really miss the old days.

Default Daytona 1975

Dragon997...

Very nice photos...do you have anymore? I don't have any!
The '75 Daytona 24hr was my first ever endurance race, with the Sebring 12hr next. Did well for a rookie driver.
Those were good days, with fun cars and great competition.
