Default GT350 - Who's got one and has an opinion

Who here has one and wants to share their thoughts? I've watched tons of video reviews and read a bunch....but looking for some final thoughts.

Seriously considering this...again.

While I am not an owner, I've had 3 spirited test drives this year. I'm a big fan of that motor and how it sounds.. it howls at full tilt. The drive compared to any GTx car will be heavy, as you can actually feel the weight but the magnaride does wonders to tune it out.
It's on my shortlist of cars.. I am not sure the cost between R and non R is justified, so unless the R's drop considerably I would simply go with a non R car with Recaro's.
'16s need trackpack so they don't overheat on track.. '17s already have the added cooling features..

2018's are already coming out.. add to that the rumored GT500 car and I expect prices to fall pretty hard over the winter months.

one of my employees has one ( non R ) and he absolutely loves it . Sure he goes on and on about the flat crank as all the owners of that car do like its something revolutionary. He is absolutely a gear head like us and he truly says its the nicest car he has ever owned. He used to have older mustangs and went away from them for a few years but loves this car.
apparently they just sent him an oil filter removal tool with his serial number embossed into it. I thought that was pretty cool.

It's the little touches that give you the warm fuzzies and that help build solid brand relationships. Do they still do the track experience weekend for buyers? Did he get it?

There are some 2017s sitting on lots locally. When you say fall, you mean closer to dealer cost? Are dealers still not discounting this car? R or not.

You are likely right on selecting a non-R. Eletronics pack becomes a must option for builds after April 2018, taking the price higher by $4000 off the bat.

With Chevy punting out huge discounts on the vettes and camaro's, I can see Ford dealers going well towards invoice pricing or lower on ones sitting. I spoke to a local dealer in regards to a new GS Vette and the discounts were massive. 20% +
We need some -10*C weather with snow drifts.. prices will plummet faster than the temps in January.. lol

A dealer is doing about $5000 off MSRP on a 2017 350...another $3000 to go to hit invoice plus 2% MSRP holdback.

im pretty sure he did not , but he did get a big discount as it was sitting on a lot. he bought it last year off a lot and it was a 2016 model so it was discounted.

Pretty sure the GT350 was selling below MSRP in the summer, in Ontario at least. There were many for sale...

The larger dealers like Markville, etc have a tonne of stock on the lots.. Mid summer I was able to get a sales person down almost $10k.. So there are huge deals to be had... My whole GT3 experience has left a bitter after taste.. I am looking quite hard for something to help cleanse the palate and the GT350 checks all the boxes.. I grew up around muscle cars so it was just a matter of time before I bought one....

Markville is doing $7000 off....that brings it to invoice price. Invoice is just under $73.

Not a crazy amount of choices now (in terms of colours, stripes etc)....they are significantly below MSRP now. Can also deal on a 2018 350 sitting on the lot. Dealer is expecting MSRP for 350R orders.

looks like it's still for sale, R too. I think plain 350 would work for me and pocket almost $20k. Still holding out for .2 gt3!
