Default Cigarette Lighter Broken

Everyone,

My cigarette lighter, which I had been using as a cell phone carger, kicked the bucket and isn't working. Anyone have quick fixes for this? Also, is this common? And, I've seen a few upgrades that convert this to a USB and/or other things - any suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt

Fuse? D5 15a. Use the phone prep plug?

It was the fuse! Great advice.

Issue: fuse blew after I replaced and put car charger back in. Thoughts on continuous lighter fuse popping?

if the fuse blew before inserting the charger, I would say you have a short in the wiring, if it blow when you inserted the charger, the charger has a short itself.

Try something else like a cigar lighter and see if it blows.
