Event options include: "Early entry on Thursday, September 22nd. Includes 1 reserved Paddock space" for $500. Is that in addition to the $475 Sprint Primary Driver fee?

I'm registered and so long as my SPB survives NJMP and there's decent car counts - I will be there. I haven't signed up for Thursday's practice as $500 for a practice day seems steep... did I misread the registration on that?

Yeah, is this right? $500 for early paddock access and reserved parking space...?

The practice day is a separate thing from the PCA event. It is $225 plus fees so about $236 for a full day open track with open padding.

Here is the link to sign up:

I think the $500 is for sponsors who want to reserve a paddock space and get early access into the gates Thursday afternoon. If you do the Thursday practice day for $225? and park in one of the reserved spots, you'll have to move your rig. At least that's how it was last year.

Makes more sense... Were the reserved parking spots posted in advance last year?

Yes, though it was being revised right up until Thursday.

Wish I was going! Despite blowing up my transmission during the enduro I had a ton of fun.

What a wild track. It's like Lime Rock but without all that pesky armco which might make it safe!

We will get a map of what's reserved before load in for the practice day and someone will be there to make sure no one parks in a reserved space.

It should be no problem.

FYI We are purposely scheduling Sunday enduros early to get racers on their way home as early as possible. Schedule is not final but expect a morning enduro and the second to start at 1pm or maybe sooner if we can get it done.

Happy hours and dinner included in entry fee both Friday and Saturday.

Summit Point Safety has been seriously improved. ( run off areas, more tire walls, trees removed, etc. )

Finally, Streak will be giving a chalk talk and signing autographs Thursday evening at his trailer.

All attendees to my chalk talk will get an autographed coffee table book titled "The Lap." It's the story of my record setting lap that has yet to be bested among other amusing and informative anecdotes of my time as a racing driver. A bargain for sure.

EDIT: for those of you who are not readers there's is a link in the forward by a well known celebrity driver to my video tutorial of the lap titled "Every Hundredth Counts." My publisher says I cannot post the link here as it's pay per view ($39.95 for a limited time) but if you get the book it's free!

Look forward to giving it a shot... was there some sort of rumor that Octopus might have been cut to accomplish that lap?
