Default 2018 GT3 to Buy or not to Buy

I left a deposit for 2018 GT3 manual some time ago for MSRP + 15% in US. I received a call today that the car is ready to be build.

1. Is that a good deal?
2. How much do you think the car will depreciate over next few years if I'll drive 5,000 a year?

Any advise will be very appreciated.

I just bought my 996 Turbo for less than the markup, so I can't really comment

I would never buy already heavily overpriced by Porsche .2 GT3 for any premium over sticker.

If worried about depreciation then do not buy the car.

Figure it will depreciate like any other car and if it does not, then, it is a bonus.

As for the premium- there is a reason they have a car for you but to each their own. Could be worth it if this was a very desirable car for you.

Seriously.

Look do you want the car? If yes, buy it. Speculation and buying a car based on what it may or may not do is just stupid.

Good deal? No. Will it get you the car? Yes

Add up all the ADM and Tax, that is money you will never get back when they soften just to MSRP (then worse later). If that amount is worth the fun factor for the time you own it then I guess you can decide. For those that dont drive them to keep the depreciation in check it is even worse because they dont even get the value of enjoying it. I would think that if you have the means to afford this car that you are smart enough to figure all of this out without asking a forum though.

If everyone said no to adm they would go away. Not gonna happen IMHO. I told my dealer no for $10,000 adm. not worth it to me

Don't buy it at over MSRP. Horrible deal.
Could be a great car, but no one has one yet.
