Looking at the Akra full exhaust makes me think of buying my 7.2 GT3 back and slapping this baby on. Assume it fits 7.2 3.8 RS as well (since fits on 4.0)?

^New GT3, working on confirming PTS.

Manual not a big deal to me, don't plan on tracking the new with the race car in the mix now, so PDK is a plus since it allows my wife to drive it.

PM's replied to. A lot of small stuff is going fast. There are still some good deals available.

If you track your 997 GT3 I can't say enough what a difference solid engine mounts make. They are easy to install and make everything work so much better at the track. For $100 do like I did and try them- you will be amazed, trust me.

Wheels I know are a personal preference, but the OZ Challenge wheels are money! I'll get pics and add to this thread today. I know I make them sound completely thrashed, they aren't- they are mostly just dirty. I'll clean them for the photos!

About the solid engine mounts, are you saying they are a big improvement over the dynamic mounts? If so, i will take them. Thanks.

^Save your Dynamic Engine Mounts for the Street. If you are getting fast on the track, the DEM's won't keep up and your shifting will get balky or worse. Also, the DEM seem to wear out over time. With the solid mounts it was night and day- easy to shift all the time, no more issues.

You have a PM

Especially if they are slightly experienced and priced accordingly!

Here are the specs:

All fronts: 8.5JX18 H2 ET50

Set 1: Rears are 12JX18 H2 ET50 just one set

Set 2: Rears are 11JX18 H2 ET45 two sets of rears this size, for 6 wheels total

Scuffs from transportation on the rack in the trailer- I used cardboard, felt would have been better! I will try buffing it out, most of will smooth out.

Why the different rears? I bought two complete sets for track work, both were sized for standard YOKO cup rears, which are slightly narrow compared to what you can use in a NB GT3. When I transitioned to Hoosiers I bought another rear set, this time in 12" instead of 11". Either wheel will fit a 315 Hoosier or a wider YOKO as seen in this photo. The Hoosier is on a 12" rim while both YOKO's are on 11" rims, the one in the center is the 290 size and the left tire is 320. I have used 315 Hoosiers on the 11" wheels as well. In fact I have used the both rears time trialing and both have performed identically. I know that most people will want the 12" set, but the 11" set is priced accordingly and has the added bonus of two sets of rear tires, which you tend to go through much faster than the fronts.

Rennline track mats added (I forgot I had them!). One of those little things at the track that you really appreciate. Metal mats don't slide or move, or leak and keep you carpet fresh and free from the oil and coolant your pit mate just spilled all over your space.
