Hi all, I'm selling my '98 Porsche 993 C4 Cab in Denver, CO. It is finished in paint to sample Pearl White over a black full leather cabin and shows 39.7k miles.

I purchased the car from its original owner, my father on 9/12/16 & I've added 1,500 miles since then. The original intent was to keep it in the family and leave it to my daughter but we're both being pulled inexorably toward replacing it w/ a 981 Spyder. Mostly because I keep texting her pictures of them.

This highly optioned C4 is offered with a clean Carfax, clean Colorado title & all the service records (attached below) from 25 miles on the odometer. She was serviced exclusively at the dealership where pops purchased her until I picked her up 1,500 miles ago. The ask is $65,000 but I will consider any reasonable offer. Thanks!

Here's the original thread from when I bought her: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-cabrio-3.html I originally left my dad out of it because I thought I'd get a resounding, "Awww, look at the poor trustifarian..." from the peanut gallery.

Exterior color: Pearl White

Interior color: Black

Mileage: 39,700

Factory Options (from original window sticker, attached below) include:

- Metallic Paint to Sample

- Heated Front Seats Package

- Power Seat Package

- Lumber Support – Right & Left Seats

- Supple Leather Front & Rear

- AM/FM Radio Cassette w/ Remote “CD” Changer

- HiFi Sound Package

- Litronic Headlights

- 18 Wheels w/ Technology Rim

- Wheel Caps w/ Colored Crest

- Porsche Windstop (Deflector)

- Carbon Console Switch Fram/Tunnel

- Carbon Inside Door Openers

- Carbon/Leather Steering Wheel

- Carbon Fiber Package

- Metal Door Sill Model Insignia

- Seat Stitching – Alt Std Colors

- Deviating Door Handle Stitching

- Deviating Dashboard Stitching

- Deviating Center Console Stitching

- Deviating Door Storage Top Stitching

- Head Restraint w/ Porsche Crest

Body:

- Lightly tinted glass

- Stone Guards replaced as new

- Original tool kit and tire compressor

- Front & Rear shocks and struts (Bilstein) replaced October 2016

- Rear Toe Link and Front Tie Rod Assembly replaced October 2016

- Aligned and corner balanced at Prestige Imports of Denver December 2016

- Lower valve cover gasket replaced May 2018

- OEM Front Mask/Bra included (never used)

General:

- Throttle response is sharp

- Paint is 9/10 with no blemishes

- Interior is 9/10 with very little visible wear. Never smoked in.

- Engine blows no smoke, leaks no oil and pulls strong

- Shift action and feel are tight

- Steering and handling is crisp and responsive

- A/C blows cold

-Everything in the car works like the day it left the factory

Known issues:

- Missing Cover Boot (OEM German Classic replacement retails for ~$950)

- Rear plastic window has oxidized (likely from spending 10 years parked) and needs replacement (I obtained two quotes from reputable shops here in Denver and they came in around $900) I never got around to doing this because I’ve never driven it with the top up and out of sight, out of mind

- Prestige Imports advised me the Chain Housing cover should be replaced at some point but they didn’t think it was a enough of an issue to do before its next major service. (Prestige (stealership) quoted ~$1200)

- An area of wear on the driver’s seat bolster will be detailed in the gallery tomorrow.

I’ll pull her out and take some better photos tomorrow.

Hi again guys. After careful consideration, I've decided that my original ask was bit high given the current market. I've watched quite a few really nice rides come through here in the mid-$60's over the past few weeks and so I've realigned my expectations.

The new ask is $59.5k. This number is fairly firm unless something comes up in a PPI that I'm unaware of.

I've responded to all PM's as of this morning.

(More pics forthcoming)

Best,
Ben

Gorgeous color!
Does the C4 cab in '98 have the turbo rears flares like the coupes for '98?

thanks

Great value. I have the same car but not as many optional extras. Paid 59K a couple of years ago and has 30K on the clock.

Thank you all for the compliments.

Hlee96, correct me if I'm wrong but only the "S'" designated models have wide flares.

All PM's have been responded to.

That is a beautiful car. I have always like the pearl white, as well as cars with exclusive options. I read through your original thread, and I didn't see any specific items you had done to the car after it sat for 10 years in the underground storage. Can you explain.

Good question, clubrcr. About a week after it got here she went to Storz garage. Any Porschephile in Denver knows these two old farts are legit. They performed the following (receipts available for those interested):

Installed a new battery & remote battery
Replaced the air filter
Drained the fuel
Replaced the fuel cap gasket
Fixed the horn
Flushed the accumulator, brakes and clutch
Fired her up

Once I was able to drive her around for a bit it was clear the tires and suspension were shot, so new Bilstein shocks & struts, Pirelli's & an alignment followed about a month later.

Since then she's driven like a champ.

Pics

Included is the driver's side door sill. That is not, I repeat NOT rust. Someone (dad) clearly knocked the door sill off at some point and then (dad) glued it back on with whatever he found in the house. ...whatever it is, it scrapes off pretty easily or I might Goo Gone it this afternoon. CD changer is peeking through the frunk carpet because I don't have it pulled tight.

I wish I'd gotten her in this kind of shape $10k ago but all of the heavy lifting is done.

All of the buttons on the side of both seats (even lumbar support) still work after 21 years. I mean seriously, who does that?
