I have the itch for a turbo, so my beloved 996 has to go. I have owned this car since early 2017 under my ownership all deferred maintenance has been done. I would say this is probably one of the best maintained 996's you will find. Here is the list of the maintenance items completed under my ownership:
2017
- New Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires
- Brake fluid changed
- B&M short shifter added
- New Rein motor mounts
- Mufflers modified Gundo method to mimic PSE
- Top gear 200 cel cats
- Window switch replaced
2018 (3000 miles ago)
- LN Engineering IMS Solution with spin on filter. Sump checked for debris and cam deviations checked before install. Original bearing was fine and included with car
- New RMS
- Sachs clutch kit
- New transmission mount
- Transmission fluid changed (Motul Gear 300)
- New Piersburg water pump and 160 deg thermostat
- Replaced AOS
- New coolant reservoir, cap and complete coolant change
- Adjustable Ohlins coilovers, rear toe arms, M030 sways, new drop links, front strut mounts and 7mm wheel spacers with extended bolts. Car has 1" drop over stock
- Full alignment by Porsche specialist Straight Line Auto
- New rotors and pads
- New OEM Porsche floor mats
Car pulls very strong, drives straight, rides and handles very well. Uses very little oil, never ticks and no chain noise on startup ever. Very solid runner. Interior is excellent, almost no seat bolster wear, no switches peeling. Original top is in excellent condition and works as it should. Paint in very good condition, some chips in the hood that have been touched up, but totally normal for a car of this year. Turns heads wherever it goes and is a more rare color combo. And we all know red is the fastest.
Asking 24,700 USD. Car purchased originally from Alabama so has MPH speedometer. I can assist any buyer looking to bring to USA. Located west of Toronto, 1.5 hrs from Queenston/Lewiston or 3 hrs from Windsor/Detroit.
