I have up for sale a set of LED tail lights of my 2000 996. The passenger side light has a small chip in the corner. I am not sure how that happened but I think my towel snagged it and chipped it off. It really doesnt look that bad.
These LED's have worked flawlessly with no hyper flashing. They were plug and play. I have a set of smoked ones on the car now.
These lights go from 200-400 on Ebay, depending on the vendor. I will let these go for $100 plus $25 for shipping. If you can overlook the small chip, these lights are a nice upgrade to any 996. The enhanced visibility at night from the rear is much better than the stock lenses.
