Hmm...

Lawrence, I was one of the first posters on these seats. I have my own set of desperate financial situations. But I'm not even going to start. I would greatly appreciate if you would offer these to me. Like I said I am an end user. I've been here before the RL 6spd split and I'm a 100% feedback eBay member. I also advised the founder of BAT on his business and Singer for that matter. Best Josh 415 516-5778

Randy,
I would greatly appreciate you removing this post. After just trying to clear the air with you on the phone and you hanging up on me, it's clear that you're just out to call names. You seemed bothered that I "vanished" after we initially spoke. However as I communicated my wife and I had just had a baby at the time and I hadn't received the seats I was replacing mine with. It just so happened we were local to each other so I figured it would be convenient in the long run. As you'll be able to see, I have not vanished as they're posted for sale. And there are two ends to the telephone. Thanks.

Wow

I paid 3500 plus shipping and was happy to get mine.

Honest seller mistake.

Get over it.

No harm done. If you cant afford the seats at market price buy seat you can afford.

Lighten up.

lol he's prob just used to liking his own Facebook post. It has nothing to do with money as you can seen what I own. A good deal isn't good deal unless it's just a lie. There's a thread on top of the for sale section to read. Aka he rules. Apparently you haven't read them either. I'm not bashing anyone but, im sick of reading all this crap. If rules weren't set in place I could just stea your money and no one would care or I could sell you a item and at the end of closing I would require 5k more bc I wanted more money.

I was surprised by how many people thought the OPs move was perfectly fine.

Lets flip it. If a buyer posted a WTB post and found a seller based upon an agreed price but then changed their mind and told Paypal it was fraud only to then edit the WTB post to be 1/2 the price would that be OK? Would the general consensus be that the seller was a greedy bottom feeder?

This thread has drifted a bit. The buyer's disappointment in not getting a below market sale is justified, so he shouldn't be faulted in this instance. But no one has lost any money here. The seller owned up to his mistake. And it was obvious to everyone on the thread that the seller had posted an asking price that was far below market. I just think as a community of enthusiasts we ought to cut the seller a break here when he made an honest mistake and is going through a hard time.

I believe that many here are not OK with the "move", but are willing to show some compassion due to his mea culpa. The buyer has a right to feel disappointed, but his activity here in the marketplace tells me he'll be fine.

As someone that has a WTB ad running, I can assure you that there are plenty of shenanigans from so called sellers.
