I have toyed with the idea of swapping my 997.1 turbo for a monster air-cooled car for years. Every time a proto built car pops up I get irrational urges. So far the left brain wins. Does this thing hook up in 2nd with the R888s? Do I really need to scare myself sh1tless every Sunday?

Lol, I know what your going through.
The r888r’s are really grippy, if you know how to keep the boost you may be able to get loose. I do not have these skills and neither did the previous owner. Neither me nor the previous owner has taken it off of low boost. The only time it’s been on high boost setting is when it was dynod and I was not driving. It’s scary when you go from 80-120 in a blink of an eye. I will try the high boost soon. The rawness of the car and lack of aids really makes you feel it. My dad has a new corvette and it’s boring compared to this. I’m just not into refined sports cars. I like my senses working. That’s what makes me feel alive.
