Due to a GT4 allocation last summer (also yellow), and realization that 5 cars is too many I have decided to explore finding a new owner for my beloved Speed Yellow 993, as I believe cars should be driven and used not sit in a garage.

I bought it in spring of 2010 from Sloan Cars in CT after a 2 year search, and I have added some 7000 miles since. I am the third owner (CARFAX says 4, but the first 2 owners was same person, lease and buyout) and the car now has a bit less than 51,000 miles. The car has been pampered by all owners, with no signs of track use, and I have big stacks of receipts from the car was new. Latest big service was 2 years ago, when the engine was taken out, resealed, typical valve guide issue was addressed, and also new clutch was installed when engine was out. Work was performed by top Boston shop (European Performance Engineering). So, engine is “as new”.

The car is close to stock and in excellent shape. Some typical slight modifications as per list below, all very easy to revert back to 100% stock if so desired. All paint believed to be original. All original tools and manuals. Clean CARFAX.

'Too many' in what way, exactly? Not sure I understand the meaning of your phrase.

Beautiful, clean C4S. GLWS.

I always get a kick out of the "on-board computer" option. In '97 was this a 386 processor and 4 mb ram?

Wish you were closer. A very nice, clean, and perfectly modded car IMO. GLWS!

I like Speed much better than Racing. I still miss my Pastel '97...

BTW, that looks like a Bird console - very desirable IMO and out of production for years. Do you have the key for it?
And no, not OEM but fairly well done for aftermarket. Porsche did not make (to my knowledge) consoles of any sort for the 993.

Thanks fellow rennlisters for all interest in the car. I got an overwhelming response, and have had many great conversations with car enthusiasts across the country over the last three days. By now all PMs, emails, texts and voicemails have been responded to. I have a few offers on the car and will honor the first offer at asking price that came in. Funds are supposed to be received beginning of the week, and when that happens I will update the ad and everyone that expressed interest.
