IMO - Porsche is making a TON of new cars ( GT3, GT3RS, etc ) I think in the long run the 997.1 and 997.2 will all be big money. Just look at the 993 c2, c2s and turbo cars, that bubble "sank" and now they are all back up at least 15% maybe more. My car has mods and I get that for some buyers they want a dead stock car, but for the OP I think his car is worth 180-185 to the right buyer especially since it's bone stock and has all the right options. PTS cars will always have a higher price point, they just made less of them and typically the high level Porsche collector is willing to pay a premium for special paint or cxx options. At the end of the day it's all about how you enjoy cars, I like to drive mine and have a few so I don't rack up many miles on any of them. I put 22k miles on my 14 turbo S, I would've driven my 10RS a lot more but living in Los Angeles and driving a stick any day other than Sunday is just asking for a sore left leg. I think you paid fair money for your car but there is a difference in long term value with single digit mileage.

BAT is a low data point IMO. The buyers out there tried to use BAT as their market price with me. I think they are sticker cars plus 3-5% right now if they have average miles (whatever that is) which I think is pretty admirable considering where 2015/2016 GT3 and RS's have fallen to. Many 16 RS's out there are 10K below sticker already. My car got labeled as high mileage. It's too bad we can't fix that garage queen mentality. It's a baby at 17K, many interested parties made low ball offers and two made offers that I accepted and then backed out the next day for various personal reasons. They all called themselves serious buyers. How buyers operated was disappointing. Lack of integrity IMO. Now that I pulled it off the market I got three more calls last nite. I am positive with more patience and the right buyer I may have gotten my 165K and or at least sticker. What was clear to me is color is still a factor and they all want "their" spec. They all know this is going to be a car that will continue to appreciate (albeit slower now that we are in a down period) and they all want one but they all were looking to steal it instead of just getting the best car they could find for the money they had, or wanted to spend. Several were first time 991 GT3 RS and GT3 owners that have "read" about all of the 997RS "magic", never have driven or ridden in one but want in. This is the pattern we all speak about and is very true. It will only get tougher to get in as time goes on.
OP, your mileage is great and so is the fact that it's certified (which my dealer said was 4K all in). There is a lot of personal preference on these cars options. GLWS.

Patience is the key. Patience for anyone selling,... as well as anyone buying. We really are a niche (cars & people).
You speak truths Michael. As you said, everyone has their "dream spec", and I am no different. It took me 1.5 years to find the right car for my wife & I, and when it popped the entire deal took 36hrs to land in our garage.
GLWS sale OP. Put it up for sale in more than just RL. Autotrader or cars.com. There is bound to be more of the 991 GT3 guys out there that don't even look in RL.

It really is beautiful. I was just trying to figure out why the price would go up after not selling.

I like it (regarding the raising of price). Now that I own one,.. pls drive the market back up outta this soft spot, ONE car at a time!!
Big question seems to be whether 6,500 is "collector" grade miles. I think so. For a car of this age, I definitely think so. Of course all the rest of the maintenance, quality, all needs to be there.
having said all that,.. I am no expert on the market, and cannot say whether $195k will allow it to move.
