Selling my beautiful 993 ahead of a cross-country move and job change. I don't have to sell, but it would make my life a lot easier so I'm offering it up to RL. Local buyers preferred but I am willing to help an out of state buyer with logistics. I never intended to sell and have gone through this car like it was going to be my forever car, spending $10,000 on maintenance and tasteful upgrades in my short ownership, but here we are.

Please PM me with inquiries or to see the car in Sunnyvale, CA.

History
Lifetime inland California car
I’m the fourth owner, previous owner was an executive who only drove it 10k miles in 10 years.
Appears to have always been garaged
I have paper copies of all maintenance records since new including window sticker and manuals
60k mile service performed, including lower valve cover gaskets, clutch slave and hose, spark plugs, fuel filter, and transmission fluid.
Car was basically original when I bought it, well-maintained but 100% unmodified. I’ve tastefully upgraded and refreshed things, but kept the original suspension, engine mounts, etc. for future owners. Everything included along with some spares and special tools.
I financed the car through my local credit union thanks to a 2.5% interest rate -- made more sense than pulling money out of other investments to purchase outright. I have sold a car through them before and it was very painless. I will facilitate a meeting at the credit union or whatever works for the buyer.

Factory Options
Glacier White
Classic Grey
Porsche Floor Mat - Classic Grey
AM/FM Radio with CD Player
Power Seat Package
Brake/Shifter Dk Wood/Aluminum
Motor Sound Package
17” Wheels w/Cup Design Rims
Color crest center caps (these are not on the car currently but I have them)
Hi-Fi Sound package w/10 speakers

Stuff I’ve done since Sept. 2016 / within the last 2,000 miles:
Detailed car and replaced original stone guards with new 3M
New alternator, engine fan, fan hub, updated pulleys, belts
New Michelin Pilot Sport II tires in OE sizes
RS engine mounts
Original power steering rack removed and rebuilt, no leaks
Suspension refreshed: Bilstein PSS10 adjustable coilovers, new OE shock/strut mounts, M030 front and rear anti-roll bars, M030 front end links, adjustable rear end links, sport hardness front control arm bushings, bumpsteer-correcting solid tie rods, ball joints, rear arm condition checked and okay
Aligned to RS spec and corner balanced, set at RS +10 (a reasonable, sporty “Euro” height)
Brake calipers refinished, new rotors and pads, fluid flushed
RS heater blower bypass (heat and AC still work, all original parts included)
New engine air filter, pollen filters, various small things like pedal pads, warm LED interior lights, drain tubes, trunk carpet clips, etc.

Notes
Paint is all original. It shows amazingly well for its age and the paint looks great overall. There’s a few small blemishes: a couple rock chips on the hood, typical scrapes on the front bumper underside, a few paint chips near one of the vents on the front bumper, a very small chip on the rear bumper, and a very small ding on the right rear fender, easily pulled with PDR.
Interior is very clean overall, with some light wear and shininess on the driver’s seat bolster.
Engine underside has 20 years of grime, and is “weeping” oil, but no active leaks -- ie, has never dripped on the floor. PPI has more details, shop said this was very good.
Engine has never been dropped -- all original engine, clutch, SAI system. Mileage low enough that it hasn't yet required any of these items, but should be on your radar for attention within a few years depending on mileage.
I did one non-competitive, instructed track day to learn the limits of the car. It performed flawlessly with no surprises!

Thanks Opo, that's high praise coming from someone who's bought a few Porsches like yourself.

I live just around the corner from you (HMB). I have an '86 targa project car (rust free, clean title, no engine, no interior), if you are interested in a trade.

How do I get in touch with you?

Not interested in trades, sorry!

I've got three people coming to see the car today and will post an update this evening.

Congrats on creating an amazing For Sale ad, particularly the links. Clearly you are a man of detail, which likely shows up in your car.

Glacier White is a spectacular color--incredibly bright.

GLWS (though it looks like you won't need it!)

Thanks, I really appreciate that! And yeah, the Glacier White looks really clean in person. The perfect color to show off the lines of the car.

I have some tentative interest from today but nothing firmed up yet, so don't hesitate to reach out if you're interested.
