I have a 914 6 track car. It was built by HamFab, very nice pro fame plate car. It has a 67 911S engine which I am told are rare. The information I have gather says the engine maybe worth north of 25 / 30K. I am sort of between a rock and a hard place. Shame to leave it in the track car if someone needs it for a restoration but the math has to work too. That said I am all ears.... worth to you?... best way to reach me...Salisbury.don@att.net

A complete original s engine might be worth $25-30 especially to owner of car it was installed at factory. A modified case that has had it's spigots cut for larger cylinders- don't know what that is worth but much less. I'd post this on the early S registry site for some better feedback.

thanks.... air cooled stuff has gotten crazy.... I did post it on 911 registry, pca, samba and racing junk. lot of interest, but that is to be expected when you don't post a price. it seems the engine will stay in the car...to expensive to swap out.
