About the car
I purchased the 06 CS from Danbury Porsche in CT last year with 52,9xx miles.. at that time a PPI was performed by the dealer, including an oil change and new tires on the stocks. From there I lightly drove the car until Jan when I moved to SoCal (enclosed transport). Due to work and travel, I have not given her the attention she deserves, driving wise. My hope is someone can now enjoy the car the way I wanted to. I believe this car was owned by a PCA member as I noticed the sticker imprint when I was purchasing.
I was told the car spent most of its life with a clear bra over the front portion, once moving to SoCal I decided it was time to be removed as it was starting to turn yellow. Auto Armor in SD removed it, while Elite Finish Detail, gave the car a nice shine. At the time of writing this the car was just freshly serviced oil/fluids, it was determined the alternator needed to be replaced…Porsche of San Diego completed the work.
There are a few cosmetic flaws with the car and they are as follows… The front bumper has holes in the bumper from a front plate state, sadly nothing I could do. Also, there was a miss drill it looks like from when the grills were installed. Never noticed as it was quite hidden. The interior trim has some wear, and some of the rear interior trim is scuffed from PO
As stated above the Joe Tooth kit has some damage.. while driving it one day, the canyon road had a very sudden dip and you can guess the rest. The car was very low so it cracked the lip down the middle, but not completely and the rear diffuser scraped upon exit of the dip.
The last thing is the KW coils make noise when turning at low speeds, a spring boing lol. It's been to two separate shops to verify this had nothing to do with the original install. (it does not) They said they've seen it a lot, especially from KW.. if you really want to minimize it you can have the shop remove them and they can look for potential solutions. So for that minor inconvenience, I took the price down.
This covers everything from my ownership of the car. Please contact me with any questions of interest! I would love this car to go to another Porsche enthusiast.
