I'm starting my search for another Cayman 981. Drove a base and an S today and am absolutely in love with the gear box. (A PDK S at the right price, with an absolute perfect options list, might sway me in that direction, but I really, really want a manual.)

I like the value of the base model, but (naturally) love the extra pep in the S. Also, I doubt seriously I'll find a base with all of the options I want, but I'm open to one, if it comes along.

Looking to stay around $50k.

Must haves:
-manual transmission
-any color other than black (too dang hot for TX), white (have had two white Caymans and they're beautiful in white, but just looking for a change), or Guards Red (not to be confused with Carmine Red. Carmine Red is actually a front runner).
-auto A/C
-PSC
-PSE
-20" wheels
-park assist
-PASM or X73 sport suspension
-sport seats PLUS

Would like to haves (in no particular order):
-PDLS
-sport design steering wheel
-elec seats
-model delete from trunk
-no license plate holes drilled in front bumper
-Racing yellow, Carmine Red, or Rhodium Silver
-GTS style (smoked-ish) tail light covers
-those evil, hate-inducing, orange front turn markers already replaced with the heavenly clear, LED ones
-something close to Texas
-red or yellow seatbelt and/or gauges (depending on the paint color)

That said, this will be my third Cayman and I know the model inside and out. So, please, no one contact me trying to sell me a $55,000 base model.

Found it, but I think that's GR. Can't tell for sure from the pictures. In the sun, it looks like GR, but in the pics with less light, it looks closer to CR. ?

It sure checks off a *LOT* of boxes. However, 55 for a base, no matter how many options, just doesn't make sense to me. It's a gorgeous 981 though.
