Think back approximately twenty years ago to the Porsche you most wanted. If you're a rabid fan of the brand and preferred your 911 variants in naturally aspirated guise, it was likely the forbidden-fruit-outside-of-Europe Carrera RS. The 993 RS was the fourth major member of Porsche's famed RS family. If you were one of 227 lucky Europeans, you could even get your RS with a side order of Clubsport to make things even more hardcore with track-ready aero and a roll cage. Well, I wasn’t one of those lucky 227, but I am pleased to present my RS Clubsport tribute car, here in

the good ol USA.

At-A-Glance
This is a well-sorted, documented and highly-maintained car. I would consider the driver characterization offensive, but that’s probably the most accurate one. She’s in great shape overall. I suspect the first person that sees the car will purchase it. Clean title, never has been in an accident. Carfax available.

The previous owner has receipts totaling $10k+ doing preventative maintenance in May of 2017. The car has new brakes, pads, rotors, lines, new clutch, & top-end resealed. All fluids changed in the past couple hundred miles. Nice factory options including LSD. This car has spent its entire life owned by P-car enthusiasts. All work performed by Sleepers Speed Shop in Costa Mesa, CA - a renowned air-cooled shop here in So-Cal. They can speak to how nice the car is.

Under My Ownership

· Completely resprayed the front end because I was annoyed of rock chips

· Retuning the suspension for a superb street driving experience

· Put in brand new AC components so now its blasting ice cold even for Texas weather

· Completely change out the audio head unit to a Pioneer single deck with Bluetooth, handsfree, and spotify.

· Replaced all the speakers in the car

Exterior
-Getty Design RS M003 3-piece front splitter
-Getty Design RS M003 RSR/club sport rear spoiler w/ carbon fiber insert
-993 RS side skirts
-HID headlight conversion
-Euro clear corners
-Fully exterior opti-coat, which is quite demonstrative in parking lot lights. The polar silver just beams.

Condition: The exterior of the car is in great shape with a few smalls imperfection if you are really paying close attention. The vehicle shows extremely well for 1995 build.

Interior
-DAS Sport 4pt. roll bar
-Pioneer Head Unit
-Black floor mats
-Fire extinguisher

Condition: The interior shows really well. The rear of the passenger seat seems to have rubbed against the roll-cage, but it’s not noticeable unless you fully bend the passenger seat forward. The headliner has about a 1 scratch near the driver door side, somewhat out of sight. Otherwise, the interior shows really well and smells period-correct.

Engine
-Remarkably stock, except for a B&B exhaust. Straight pipes are also included, but not currently installed on the car.
-Engine hums beautifully, and makes all the right smells and sounds. Notably, the engine was fully re-sealed 1500 miles ago, and doesn’t drip oil at all.

Transmission
-Brand new clutch with 1500 miles on it

Suspension/Brakes
-Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers
-993 Turbo Brakes (refinished Mexico Blue with neo-chrome Porsche decals)
-Brand new pads, rotors, lines and refinished the interior/exterior of the calipers
-Front strut bar

Wheels/Tires
-Techart Championship Formula wheels
-18x8.5 et41 front, 18x11 et60 rears. Front tires are 225/40 and rears are 275/35. These are an incredibly rare set of wheels, and they are period correct.

Service History & Documentation
-Owners manual has stamps/records from 97-02; and full documentation for the years thereafter. Spent $10k doing preventative maintenance in the last month.

Reason for Sale

I purchased this car from a fellow Rennlister last year as a bridge car until my 991.2 GT3 arrives. My intentions were to turn it into a fun little track car but didn’t have the heart to do it so she was kept mainly as a street cruiser. I’ve decided to go with a GT4 instead for track duties and put her up for sale. This car speaks for itself. Serious buyers only, please. The car is being sold with a heavy heart because I simply just don’t have the garage space for it.

What does "top-end resealed" mean? Does that mean top-end rebuild?

Nice car!

Nice car!
Reseal usually describes tearing everything down and splitting the case, cleaning all mating surfaces, then reassembling everything with new sealants, gaskets, and seals.
