Default 2003 Porsche Turbo Smoking Deal

Year: 2003
Make: Porsche
Model: 0
Mileage (numbers only please): 71500
Color: Seal Grey
Price (no $ sign please): $35000
Private or Dealer Listing: Dealer Listing
Location (Region): Midwestern
Body Style: Coupe
Transmission Type: Manual - 6 speed
2 or 4 Wheel Drive?: 4 Wheel Drive
Engine Type: Fuel Injection
Stereo System: AM-FM CD

We got this car in on trade and in addition to offering it to some of our wholesale buyers I wanted to post it up here as well for slightly over wholesale price.
It is not a perfect car and it does have an accident on Carfax, which is why we're not retailing it on our site.
Recent brakes, good tires (all seasons)
A/C blows cold, car drives great.
No 2nd gear popout issue
Rear spoiler works perfectly/no hydraulic leak
Paintmeter shows rear driver's quarter painted and a small section of the front driver's fender.
Windshield needs to be replaced

Looking to make a quick deal and priced accordingly, dealers or private party welcome. Cash talks.

I'm curious about the same thing, is there anything else other than a cloud on carfax that is problematic or unusual with the car?

I'm also curious. Why wouldn't you call this the 996tt deal of a lifetime?

Sorry, it's 'car dealer speak'. Just implies a really good deal on a car that might be higher mileage or one that's not a perfect car but a great deal for somebody who wants a good car to drive.

Other than what I listed, no. Needs a few things but it's a stout and driveable car as is.

Shot you an email yesterday about it. Didn't realize that I don't have PM privileges though.

Carfax has been sent to interested parties. I do not have any details beyond that and the fact that my paintmeter shows that only the rear fender was painted as part of the accident repair.

Lots of interest in this car guys, all PMs and emails replied.

Almost looks like a flood damaged car, every bolt is rusted in the engine compartment, and how did the ones on the fuel tank cover (in the frunk) rust?

I have seen other 996TT's with rusted bolts, however they were not in the trunk, but under the motor...and this was on a California car. Very odd, and definitely corrosion of some sort, but not necessarily indicative of flood damage. My guess is water damage getting that high up on the car, would have been noted by the seller and possibly listed on the carfax.

I don't see the VIN listed, I was going to see where the vehicle spent some time. If in Ohio, I don't see any issue with some rusted bolts here and there. Some serious winter chemicals used in that area. I bought a van from Cleveland once, 2 year old vehicle, low miles, great condition other than the header, exhaust, any pot metal parts looked 20 years old! :-))
