Yes, this is a tiptronic, and yes it has over 70K miles. Those two factors are reflected in the price. If it were a 6MT or had 30K less miles, I could command a premium for this color combination... but it's not, so I'm not.
Mods?
Those factors out of the way, this is a never modified, never tuned, bone stock 997.1TT driver's car that will serve its next owner well, and that I will miss dearly. The only "mods" that I've done to it are the ECS wheel spacer kit (8mm front, 12mm rear), 50% 3M tint added to the windows, and I added a leather boot over the ugly J-gate shifter that came with all the tiptronics. I also have the Fabspeed polished dual tips added to the stock exhaust, and the original tips convey with the car.
Maintenance?
Perhaps the most important aspect to a buyer of a 70k+ mile car is that I have maintenance records going back to August 2011. I purchased the car in 2016 from a Porsche dealer in Michigan that took in a trade from a previous owner that serviced the car meticulously at that dealership and then upgraded to a new 911. For the almost 1 year that I've owned it, I serviced the car at an indy shop that is owned and operated by a former Porsche race team pit boss and frankly one of the best Porsche mechanics on the east cost. I put in another almost $7K in maintenance to the car, including dropping the engine and pinning/replacing the coolant lines and hoses, which is CRITICAL to any future owner. Brakes have been done within the last 3K miles. Oil change in the last 700 miles. New drive belt and spark plugs done in the last 500 miles when I dropped the engine to do the coolant line fix. This car needs nothing except new rear tires in probably the next 10K miles.
Why sell?
I treated this vehicle with the intentions of driving it well over the 100K mile range, and I haven't owned it for a year or driven it 4K miles yet... so why am I selling? I recently made a huge and unanticipated (at least when I purchased the car) career change where I'll almost never drive this car anymore, this being a 4th car for me and my wife, so I'm trying to simplify a bit. I have no doubts that I'll be diving back in to Porsche ownership in the future, but for now I'm focusing on establishing my new career.
I have the title in hand. Both keys. I'm in Virginia, and will cooperate with shipping and/or PPI at the buyer's expense. No "dibs" but I will take a deposit. PM is the best way to reach me for now, and if any serious buyer surfaces, we can talk/text/email.
Thanks for looking!

Pretty car... Not many Tips tempt me, but this one sure does. Future owner could do a paddle shift conversion and along with the new shifter/boot you installed, pretend it's a PDK?
