TL/DR:
2006 Exige
Sport and Touring Package
43,xxx miles
No Accidents
3rd Owner

41k OBO with mods.

I'm putting my 2006 Exige up for sale. I've only had it ~4 months, but I've found another car(and moving soon) so i just don't have room for 3 cars.
I purchased this car back in Feb from this board and have since put about 9k into her making it as perfect as i can + adding power... i really didn't plan to sell this quickly, but things happen.

The Good:
The car is in good shape.
As i usually do, I spent a lot of money buying little interior bits here and there making it as clean as possible. Including(but not limited to):
Complete seats out detail
New carpets
New MISC trim pieces
New headliner
New OEM windshield.
Cquartz
The paint looks very good and I will post more detailed pics later.
The car drives great.
Clutch is good
Compression is great (250,250,243,250)
No grinding gears
The shiftier feels better than most I've driven.
Brakes well
Alignment is good.
I've tackled most every little "qwerk" thats come up... Fast blinking blinker, intermittent dash etc etc.
The AC was just completely worked on by lotus Orlando.. this includes new lines($$).

Its pretty well sorted out.
New Battery
New Wiper

The Bad:
Up front, on the lowest part of the bumper the paint has about 3 cracks in it. Pic below. The cracks are under the front of the bumper opening.
The front clear-bra is scuffed up in four(?) places. Small, but its there. Looks just like a bug guts or something from 1+ foot.
Also a few areas on the front where rocks have made small holes in the clear bra. Some scratches on the bra(three circled, two not circled).
On the rear, there is a crack in a very very low section of the body right by the drivers rear tire.. its literally impossible to see on camera, so i cant take a pic. You cant even see it in person... but i'm an honest seller.
The headlights, like most lotus, get pitted easily and are just so so.
Even though I've taken care of all the rattles i can, there are still some. Its an Exige, TADT etc.. but just letting you know there are 2-3 intermittent rattles, squeaks etc. Just turn up the music, or flog it, haha.

If i was to keep the car, id eventually replace the front Bra. Its been polished so its not fading etc, but its got damage from rocks etc.
She is by no means perfect, but i've tried very hard to fix everything i can.

The Cracks under the front bumper. You cannot see them in person unless you're on your back laying down, so i didn't think a whole respray was necessary. Honestly, a new Bra will probably hide most of this anyway.:

Really well done - and the upgrades are spot-on correct with all the "right stuff" rather than the "bling" - so whoever chose them really researched them well...

BTW - I did chuckle a bit about your comment" "...Even though I've taken care of all the rattles i can, there are still some..." Umm - they all rattle, squeak and make funny noises - it's part of the "Lotus Charm"..

BTW 2.. For anyone looking for a streetable Track Warrior - this would be an awesome candidate.. And if you run with Northeast Region PCA or North Country Region - you'll have a bit of company at our DE events...

Great color as well..!

GLWS!
