I agree Surfer's assessment also.

I am also in the market for GT3 seats and saw the ad when it first appeared. I assumed these seats were either fake, in a crash, or some other scam. I am also not willing to buy seats sight unseen, so I didn't respond to the seller.

My opinion is that those that are now pissed off are of the bottom feeder/flipper variety. I have been approached by of couple of these guys (that have posted in this thread) and have experienced their aggressive buy/sell tactics. Seems that when I inquire about any of the ads for GT3 seats these same jokers PM me with "deals" they have.

To the OP, your apology is OK by me and good luck with you life situation.

I sold Brian the roll bar at the previously agreed upon price with reduced shipping. That does not make him whole though, and I am sorry for all this.

Yup agree 100%

Actually created my rennlist account to make OP an offer on the set (usually @ 6speed). That said i think the seller has resolved the situation amicably. And all the best to him.

Yikes...

Jokers??? Bottom feeder variety??? Poor choice of words I think. It's pretty simplistic...on both ends. You're putting an add out there to buy seats, these guys offer them to you, you say no. Therefore they're jokers or bottom feeders?

Hmm...

I'm not going to respond to any of the commenting on here bc to each their own. However I will suggest that if you want to sell these seats in somewhat of a timely manner that you ask 4k. 5k would be a price for a set in perfect condition and by the pictures you have supplied yours are far from that.

Good luck

Just curious - what was the original price? How big of a hit would he have taken?

Lawrence_P, did you pull your ad on the AiM Solo DL for $400? I pm'ed you last nite that i'll take it, no questions asked, just let me know payment info. I haven't gotten a response and as i search the ad again, it no longer shows up. it seems to have been deleted.

Originally the price for these seats was 1600. I also sent 750 plus 3xx for shipping. Like he said he kept his word on the rollbar. Shipping was only less bc I was now only buying the bar.

I was asked what is exactly is included and for more photos.

I think they are in nice condition. There are no scratches or scuffs anywhere. Dog hair is free.
