The beta test of the JW Speakers mounted with fluted lenses has concluded and we are a go. There is a little shading due to the flutes but there is no distortion or improper disbursement. The cutoffs are good. The width of the LED beam that lights up the shoulders so well is intact. And the long distance LED brilliance is intact. Here's what one tester had to say:

"I'm satisfied given the huge improvement in light output. I'm sure the light without the bit of fluted lens distortion would be even better but I'm not willing to give up the OEM look they provide."

You can see small grey "streaks" caused by the fluting but they don't reduce performance.

Fluted Lenses Now Available

For those who want to preserve an original look I'm now offering LED assemblies built with JW Speaker LEDs and fluted lenses. I can use either the flat Euro lenses or H4 lenses. The cost is $1,295.00. Not available with TruckLite LEDs due to their bulb configuration.

New Lower Prices

I'd like to see everyone who drives at night have an opportunity to buy LED headlights and I'm lowering the prices. Here's the new pricing:

• TruckLite 27270C with chrome trim rings: $795.00
• JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2 with chrome trim rings: $995.00 (!)

Add $100 for black or primered trim rings. Add $100 for fluted lenses. Shipping and PayPal fees are extra. Prices in effect for as long as I can maintain them at this level.

Up until now I have usually built the JW Speakers with Hella SB19 lenses as they appear to be somewhat higher quality than the plain clear lenses that are available. Plus they are Porsche parts. With the new low pricing I'm going to have to offer the Hella lenses as a $100 upgrade in the future.

However, I still have some of the Hella SB19 lenses in stock and I will include them at no extra cost until supplies run out.

The clear lenses typically sell for around $25.00 each and the Hellas sell for over $100.00 each. Great deal while supplies last - very limited.

I haven't posted here in a while about these but I'm selling *a lot* of LED headlights. The JW Speakers are so obviously superior that I have simplified things and now offer only those. The cost is $1,095.00 for a set with clear lenses for those who want a modern look or $1,195.00 for Bosch 4487 fluted lenses for those who want a more traditional look.
