Just arrived! 2018 Porsche GT3 in stunning Polar Silver Metallic. A cool clean silver with a undertone of blue. I consider the Polar to be a cleaner darker silver than Rhodium with a bit more blue imo. One of my favorite colors going back to that missed chance to buy a 993 TTS for $105k in Polar, but I digress.

I love Polar Silver, but Porsche charging its best and most enthusiastic customers almost $13,000 to have a shade of silver that is slightly different from its regular silver feels like they're doing it just because they can get over on us. That feels wrong.

13k seems about right to me. Their best and most enthusiastic customers are macan/cayenne buyers, surely. Huge margins and those folks sign and drive. How would you justify a cheaper number to the bean counters?
